These clients spent time living and working in Italy, which left them with a strong desire to use European-style frameless cabinets for their kitchen remodel. Frameless cabinets provide a sleek look because the door and drawer fronts are very close to each other, and there is very little wasted space inside because there are no face frames to reduce the opening sizes. But frameless cabinets do require more precision to build and install than the more-common face frame cabinets.

Project Elements

This remodel was spurred by a plumbing leak and subsequent insurance claim. We had done some prior work for these clients and they contacted us when the kitchen had already been partly demolished by remediators. We made every effort to fast-track the process to quickly get them back with a functioning kitchen to minimize the disruption to their lives.
