This bathroom has a very common space-efficient floorplan. We replaced all the fixtures and finishes including the large obscure-glass tempered window in the shower wall. When we install a shower window we fully waterproof the opening as if it were a recessed shower niche. The curved shower rod helps the shower feel more spacious with the curtain closed, but that horizontal cantilever exerts a good bit of rotational force, so we always install these into solid in-wall blocking.
